The 7ER is the sexiest and absolutely worst plane to get if you want commutability. You'll have the worst seniority, you'll be on reserve for the longest time, once you get a line you'll be lucky if it's commutable on one end. You've been given the answer, you just don't like hearing it. MD88 is the best plane for anybody where seniority is more important than on the job QoL.
