Default White Slip Out of Base

If one were to want to white slip out of base and had a trip “in base” over the same dates would one just fill out the “out of base” white slip for that rotation and then the schedulers know one is looking to drop an “in base “ rotation? Or does one have to submit a drop for the “in base” rotation and get that approved first? Assume all reserve coverage needs are met in all cases. Thanks

You would have to drop your trip first because an OOB WS is only awarded for same day/next day flying (see 23.P.1.b) and, in order to be awarded that OOB WS, those days would need to be clear/free on your schedule.
