iPad volunteers?
 

So how many people signed up to be the 'power users'? (I know, 14K :eek:) I haven't heard boo about it since the form went up. The last I've seen in any weekly update is sometime early this year for total distribution.

I can't get rid of the surface fast enough.

I "applied" to be a tester...

I’m guessing that the huge number of Ipad test volunteers that signed up crashed the IT sever that Delta used....

Now THAT's ironic.

I heard the group of testers selected were all very senior. Very little youth to no youth selected.

I'm glad Apple didn't do that when developing their first iPhones.

The cynical side of me says probably those connected to management pilots with some name recognition up top. The practical side says choose old farts and if they can figure it out, anybody can.

My cynical side keeps me warm at night, so that's my armchair quarterback assessment.

That makes sense. I always call my grandfather to explain how to use my iPad machine! (I kid, I kid!)

Sounds about right..if they can figure it out than obviously the rest of the young/tech savy pilot group can figure it out. :D
