Default ATL Hotel Crew Deals

I'd appreciate a steer toward info on ATL commuter hotels. More specifically (since I am not an ATL commuter nor do I force such), a list of close-to-Hartsfield hotels that are decent and give a good price to DL pilots who might be non-reving through the hub). My definition of "decent," like many thrifty pilots, tends to be lower when personal funds are involved versus what I expect from Delta on a layover; so most places with an airport shuttle and devoid of bedbugs are likely workable. I tried the standard cursory APC Forum search as well as ATL Flight Ops page in Deltanet - nada.

Thanks.

I used the Country Inn (south) quite often while I was there last summer. Clean enough and the restaurant had a Korean head chef who made some tasty bulgogi. If memory serves it was something like $58 out the door or maybe even cheaper. Shuttle was pretty reliable too.

Haven't found great crew rates but here are a couple I've used with the Hotels.com discount. Came out to around $90 after tax.

Best Western Plus Atlanta Airport-East: decent room and some food around. Can be noisy with the 26's so close.

La Quinta Inn & Suites Atlanta Airport North: probably the cleanest hotel on the list.

And I would NOT return to the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Atlanta Airport North.

Haven't tried anything on the south side yet.

Try Mycrewguide.com. Under the commuter tab they have lists and maps of hotels at the hubs with crew rates.

I have had guys tell me they use Priceline and stay at nice hotels for cheap. You could put a bid in for a specific hotel and if you get it great, if not, no charge.

Quality Inn South is $48.70 out the door. Cheapest place I’ve heard of without playing the Priceline game and getting extremely lucky.

Thanks for all the suggestions - a few phone calls and I’ll have it figured out.
