But to the point, not a single FA I've spoken with likes the new color. It galls me that the company is so hard over on not starting the APU until 5 minutes prior, and taxi latency, and any other number of penny pinching issues, while blowing millions on this completely unnecessary and ridiculous new uniform campaign.

The FA's I have spoken with, who BTW are getting ready for another Unionization Drive, feel the same way.

Hmmm. Honestly surprised, as every single FA I know can't wait for the new uniforms.

Purple is the "color of the year" according to the color experts at Pantone. FWIW. I prefer Pantone 151 personally. Lol

I greatly prefer Bacardi 151... but maybe that's just me.

If you are a Mad Dog F/O we are probably talking to different FA's, at opposite ends of their seniority list.

The FA's I fly with are mostly in their 50's, 60's and 70's, senior Mama's doing senior international trips. They have been through this 'new uniform' nonsense many, many times in their 30-40+ years of flying for DL/NW and they are not amused at the amount of money being pizzed away on it, vs paying them more money.

Rumor has it when you mix the Blue and Red, you get...

Passport Plum.

Now it's time to redesign the pilot uniform to a more contemporary cut. That thing is 1970s baggy with a jacket from a 1940s maritime industry long gone.

Amen, but did you mean 1940s or 1840s?

I think the management team should wear what we wear, including the hat but minus the stripes. Maybe that would expedite a refresh?

I'm not saying a change wouldn't be welcome but you don't have to wear a baggy uniform. Just have it tailored. Doesn't take a very skillful tailor to adjust it to a more contemporary style.

That...and maybe something less than a 25 year replacement cycle...lol!

You're telling me an airline pilot who uses shampoo 3 oz at a time and only gets USA Today when it's free is going to spend money on a uniform TWICE?!

Man, things must be pretty good at Delta if the top two growing threads here are about FA uniforms and hair styles.
