Purple uniforms
 

I know this is opinion, and we all know what opinions are like... but that being said, is there anywhere we can comment as pilots, about how ridiculous the purple color looks for our flight attendants. I feel like the king is wearing no clothes and no one is willing too let him know he's naked. We are a red white and blue airline, heck even black would have been ok, but purple is an accent color at best. Unless we're trying to capture 70's funkadelic zoot suit vibe.

It's not purple. It's "passport plum," thank you very much.

I’ve seen couple FAs in them at headquarters and thought they looked alright.

It would look very odd to have them mixed with the current uniforms like during testing, but I’ll reserve judgement until the full rollout and everyone is wearing them.

Purple is the color of kings. I can't help but wonder if Delta is trying to make a statement to the rest of the airline world...

I only know one flight attendant who likes the purple uniform.......and she works in inflight training....

I don’t know if it’s fashionably right or wrong, but Delta’s FA uniforms have traditionally not been color coordinated with the airline’s livery. Apparently the current uniforms are the first red/white/blue uniforms DL FAs have ever had.

That being said, I like the current FA uniforms, and I’m withholding judgment on the new ones until rollout.

I believe that it is, "Passport Plump" which is the replacement to the Tomato.

But to the point, not a single FA I've spoken with likes the new color. It galls me that the company is so hard over on not starting the APU until 5 minutes prior, and taxi latency, and any other number of penny pinching issues, while blowing millions on this completely unnecessary and ridiculous new uniform campaign.

The FA's I have spoken with, who BTW are getting ready for another Unionization Drive, feel the same way.

I think purple uniforms can look good.
Or maybe it's just the person who's wearing it...not sure...
