Ok, he passes a background check, but he still wouldn’t have been able to buy an AR-15 and still would not have been able to get high capacity magazines. Anyone who's ever fired one of these things knows what an awesome rate of fire you can lay down, full auto or no.
Also, there's the physics. The .223 round turns to flesh to jello and bones to dust. There's literally nothing left for the docs to fix.
