Default Endeavor Flight Attendants - jumpseat

As of June 1st Endeavor Flight Attendents can occupy Delta FA jumpseats. Vice Versa for Delta Flight Attendents on Endeavor flights.
I had an Endeavor FA enter cockpit and check in. I wasn’t aware of this new agreement. Called CPO to check and was told no they were not allowed. My Delta OBL showed me her bulletin in her Sky Pro that confirmed the agreement. CPO called me back a few minutes later to confirm it’s true. Granted I might have missed the memo but just wanted to pass the word. I assume they don’t have priority over Commuting Delta Pilots.

No, they don’t have priority over mainline pilots on mainline flights. There’s also nothing that says mainline pilots can occupy 9E cabin jumpseats, either. So while we keep our priority for mainline flights, we don’t gain anything on 9E flights.

Endeavor flys CRJs only, never an extra jumpseat. Delta FAs and Pilots gain nothing with this.

If they’re below DL crew members on the priority list, who cares if we gain nothing?

As of last year, all but 4 of the Endeavor CRJ 900’s had the extra jump Seat.

For at least two years, Compass allowed Delta pilots the option of sitting in the extra flight attendant jumpseat. Extended the olive branch in the thought that a reciprocal agreement could be struck. In my experience, Delta mainline guys occupied the flight deck and attendent jumpseats multiple times.

Delta never did reciprocate....Talk about a stupid tax.

Unfortunately that number has likely gone up as Endeavor has acquired more former expressjet rjs. However I don’t see that harm in offering another opportunity for employees to get to and from work. And it doesn’t change Delta pilot priority at all.

Why waste an empty seat if you don’t have to?
