My apologies. In April you mentioned you were on the committee, I did not know you had left.
Please resume bashing without my outrage, I was misinformed. I couldn’t be more confident in our leadership. The preparation for C2019 is the best I’ve ever seen by far. |

“We will never get another penny!” They almost cost us all hundreds of millions. You’re welcome black shirt yes voters. Since everyone's opinion counts(as I've been told on this forum), how does ridiculing 37% of the yes voters on TA1 lead to the unhearelded unity of which you speak? Doesn't seem to foment 100% unity, I thought respect was the name of the game? |

Along that line, I think we should all forget the past and move forward together.
Sadly there is a tiny faction working full time to subvert the MEC at any cost. We have amazing reps. C2019 will be a home run. As it should be. |

Strongly recommend Sebastian Junger’s book Tribe. We each have a pitchfork and a torch and are looking to join a mob. Rather than label the groups with whom we disagree, our energy might be better used finding a position that we can all hate equally on the Team Ed — Burn it down spectrum.
I think Scoop had it about right on this thread. We pilots in the middle have done pretty well voting for TAs. Many of us have interests that reduce the time we choose to devote to our union, which leaves the work to those who feel very strongly. Hopefully those that feel that all answers lie on the edge of the aforementioned continuum (either “yes Ed” or “pass the match”) will remember those of us in the middle. For what my view is worth, we want DAL to succeed and make money. We want the pilot share of the value DAL generates to increase over time ($$ and QOL in some sort of balance). We realize that the 4th floor works only for the shareholders but have cautious faith that they have a long term view of Delta’s health that understands that they succeed only when we, the employees, believe in the company. We are willing to work with the company while protecting our present and future interests. That’s vague, sure. It’s my starting point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Only a Scott and Sam are on the outside. The last gasp of management representatives. The nominating ballots for the C44 election were mailed today. Please do your part and fill them out. I support : Captains Brent Allen Derek Archer First Officers Jimmy Johnson Jon Payne I am not in C44 and my opinion cause some tears, but this election will seal the success of C2019. Atlanta is extremely powerful. With these four reps we are assured of a home run for our next contract. It is critical that you vote if you are an Atlanta pilot. Jerry Fielding Just curious if a Capt rep gets bumped back to FO, does he/she still get paid as a Capt? Or is it what they can hold? |
