That's part of it, but a larger part IMO is the OPEC cartel's long standing war on our domestic production. They know they can't stop us, but they can and they do try to slow us by crashing prices by dumping capacity to cause us to pull back and then tighten up to absorb high prices and transfer lots of wealth from us to them until the next cycle. Wash rinse repeat.
Its a war they can't win, but they'll take some victories in battles here or there to buy them some time. https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...-rouhani-trump The Saudi's need to pump 12.5m/bbl, when their record is 10.7m. |

In the past yes, but this cycle is due to impending sanctions, which, after Congress flips, will be off the table.

Time to empty ANWR.

From what I'm hearing it's highly like DFW-LGA will be up-gauged to A220 from RJs
So if the Eh220 does it then capacity is cut 17%, jumpseats cut 50% and pilot pay cut 5%. But the Canadian homers not employed at this airline are giddy. Or they were until the name changed this week. |

Actually right now the A319 is doing the DFW-LGA. I did it just two or three weeks ago.

Or they were until the name changed this week. I took 15 seconds to look, and today, 5 of 7 flights are RJs. So, according to your backwards math, if they do replace the RJs, that's a 31% increase in seats, nearly a 100% increase on 5 daily flights and 5-10 additional Jumpseats. |
S19 we will have 4 INC flights how many will KE have?

That isn't how math works. Just because you did it once doesn't mean every leg is an Airbus.
