A 319 to 220 is a pay cut. Not to mention a 319 pilot also gets to fly 321 so there is more money for that pilot to make in general. But 220 rates are not above 319/320.

Imho I wish we had acquired 319neos. Probably would have been here by now. But oh well.

Oh, OK. I didn't know that when a route changed airplanes that the pilots had to stay om that route and fly whatever airplane now does it.. In that case you ate 100% correct. But please simplify it for me. Which pilots took a paycut again?

You should be out there with yuge banners promoting longevity pay

I'm saying we would have been better ordering 75 of the higher paying jet. Especially for the commuters, it can carry 2 extra butts.

But to go down your tangent, if you pull 777 out of nyc (example) and replace it with 330 is that not a pay cut for those pilots?

And I dont mind holding your LGBP banner with you but I'm pretty sure random people will just stop and say "I am so proud of you guys!"

Only if they bid the 330. and it was not my tangent. You are making a ridiculous argument. So let me ask you this then: When the ALV is reduced, is that a paycut?

75 higher paying jets for near the same capacity. That's my argument.

Most of the C series jets are earmarked as RJ replacements. A321’s and 737’s are the mad dog replacements. Seems like the pay goes up everywhere.

Still doesn't make it a paycut, and WE (pilots) do not order jets.

That's a weak argument as well. At best it is extremely short sighted.
