Good luck with that. So when you can't get back to BIL (fill in the blank) to continue the trip and you explain that you mid rotation deviated, let us know how it works out. Bad, bad, bad, baaaaaad idea...

That was a completely different time and you know it. Retention bonuses didn’t exist at all, aircraft were leaving resulting in displacements, and we were stuck on a bankruptcy contract. The hundreds that left went to growing airlines with quick upgrades. You can’t say with any level of certainty that a low DGI pass rate will result in the same thing. Show me 2 pilots leaving per day again and I’ll believe you, but you know you’re grasping at straws to solidify the opinion that anything short of a flow will result in the failure of Endeavor.

I think you misunderstood his post. He was saying another option to build trips to cities where a 30 hour layover is required due to flight schedules is to DH in/out crews instead. So operate in late and DH out midday the next day and still fly some. While another crew DHs in mid day to fly the originator early the next morning.

I️ have flown with two guys in the last month that never flew pax from the left seat...anywhere. Sounds like that may be the case for you as well. There are guys out there with thousands of PIC that have been unable to get an interview. If I️ can just figure out the secret formula for hiring, I’ll open my own pilot prep business and become a millionaire. Congrats on the interview.

You misunderstand, it's not the lack of flow, it's trying to staff DCI with Propel pilots. If pilots get rejected from the Propel program it is unlikely they come to DCI, whereas someone from the DGI has given years of service to DCI before their Delta interview. By the law of supply and demand, salaries at DCI will balloon higher and higher.
I agree with you, flying with new propellers who will be moving up while long time rj drivers stay behind is an unfortunate situation. That’s gonna **** a lot of people off. It’s not gonna shut DCI down though

Got an invite to interview from Delta today. Called to schedule the interview and they said they have to add me to the waitlist. No word on how many people are on the waitlist, or how long it will be to schedule an interview.
I had my app in for 10 days; did the Delta ATP-CTP course.

Thank you for the info

More proof there will never be a flow. They will do everything in the book and then some to avoid it.

Nope. The last one just turned 25. He was ExpressJet. The one before had been 2 years at regional and about 2 years at Frontier. Neither had ever upgtraded. Don’t begrudge them, just doesn’t make sense when there are ‘more qualified’ guys/gals that can’t get an interview. Makes me feel even more blessed to be here.
