Default Nonrev priority question

My wife is trying to non rev to GLA and back from JFK

On the way back, 0266 on 2 SEP, it's showing her as #6 on the standby list.
1-3 is a family with a 91 hire date.
4 is OO, 2013
5 is DS, 2017
6 is my wife, my DOH 2018. (I'm mainline DL)

Do the offiline / DCI nonrevs go ahead of us, due to DOH, or will it put her to #4 once everyone checks in?

Once checked in she will go to the proper priority on the airport standby list.

It always just lists people by hire date on the basic standby list. Only the actual airport standby list will be accurate within 24 hours.

A bunch don't like to list until late (E-Bay syndrome) that way they can decide whether to blow an S-2 if it is tight. If it is mainline A/C you go first, some supervisory DS have priority.

I wouldn’t recognize an S-2 if it bit me....and it probably would.

I thought we had to come up with mammouth or saber tooth tiger teeth for an upgrade.

In your example, if all these people check in and no one else were to list, she would be #4 if mainline family used S2/S3. She could jump them with S2 and be #1 (unless they decided to use S2). She will be ahead of OO/DS regardless.

I hate when people do it to me, but I do it to them.

But yeah, the list will be sorted out correctly once people check in.

True, which I don't understand because the "listing" doesn't require the committal to S2 until checkin, so if you at least list, everyone knows where they could stand......

It’s all a feeble attempt to make one feel they can control the uncontrollable.

Deep down psych will identify it as a lack of self-esteem.
