New Uniforms for UAL.....Pilots too!
 

Just FYI that UAL is getting new uniforms (including pilots) and they are not happy with the purple tie. Pics are on page three.

We owe a debt of gratitude to UAL for grabbing the purple color before our mgt team got the bright idea to match our flight attendants....thanks United for taking one for the team!

WTH is up with purple that airlines think that’s the go-to color? And PLEASE tell me we have a say in a new uniform. I’ve got buddies at UAL. My heart weeps.

I think our last uniform change was circa WWII. Not too worried about change.

Touché. But reading the UAL board this seems to have been quite a surprise.

Ya, they're NOT happy, mainly just because of the purple tie. Guys are losing their minds about losing their leather jacket.

Isn’t the silver lining of getting zero dollars for uniforms that the company can’t unilaterally impose uniform changes? Just the expenses alone would be enough to form a mob of cheap Delta pilots against any uniform change.
