At least for the past few years they have been hard no fly days

You’re not supposed to break 100 hours if you work 1 office day for the month. You’re also not supposed to be coded for an office day and flying in the same day. Office days are defined as working 8-4 while respecting FAR rest times. There’s no way you COULD follow the 10 hour rest rule with flying and office work in the same day.

You can't even fly the day before sometimes because of the 8am start to the office day, not sure you can fly at all.

But for instructors... what's an office day? Unless you're working one of very few exceptions the office days for projects were eliminated. So the projects can go sit in the corner.

Can instructors post office days and then GS on top of them? Is that normal? Is that like triple pay?

No, I am just an DGS dude now, but as far as I know office day will be a duty and they can't GS over a duty. Plus instructor GS is extremely rare thing, after IA's.

SLI's are under microscope on pay issues, never gonna happen.

Except....women didnt get to vote until the 20's , slavery was legal in a previous America and we had line of time bidding where we had trip touching for vacay, we had a DB......hmmm,and what else....... and what'syour point? Thus is life. "Misdeeds" get accounted for, new "laws" are enacted for a better tomorrow, and we soldier on.

Do you want to go back to the old system?

So , what's the problem?

not really sure the point you are trying to make here...The guy i responded to said it's never going to happen and that's exactly what happened last week.

Instructor schedules are in excel until imported to DBMS usually around the 10th of the month, the stars aligned for said instructor who pre posted office days and then was awarded a GS over those days because their schedule wasn’t in DBMS yet. After being awarded the trip said instructor moved their office days. Would you call that an unfair advantage or not? If not, please point out where anyone else can post a hard non fly day and then move it after it’s posted to fly over those days.
