Default Instructor Office Days and GS On Top Of?

Can instructors post office days and then GS on top of them? Is that normal? Is that like triple pay?

I have seen ALPA guys do the same thing in the past. Drop a trip for Alpa work, and then greenslip. Triple pay.

I hope you called your rep and had him start a investigation. They are not allowed to do that. The crew scheduling computer should not even have pulled his name in the trip coverage sequence since they are coded as no fly days.

Nope, I don't get into other peoples business even if I don't agree with it. But I have seen this happen for sure.

It’s your dues money, that makes it your business. It’s a contract violation also and the correct pilot should be identified and paid. It might even have been you owed money!

Yes, this was about 2 years ago and happened a few times. Someone told me about it and I checked the pilots schedule to see if it was true. It was.. And yes it could have been me to be pay protected. I do not know if it still happens today, but I know it happened in the past some .

i don't think thats accurate, ALPA days on schedule are hard no fly days and you can't fly over them.

But can the DALPA guys delete/drop their ALPA days, or are they locked in once on their schedule?

Are you sure? Don’t think they can. Like to see proof.
