Might be some goodly discounted Boings available soon.

I wish we'd buy them simply so we can stop hearing all the whining about how we don't have them every time we taxi past one. Maybe get a twofer and they'll all bid over to it and maybe give me a bump in seniority. I don't understand the odd love affair with that thing...I mean, it still has a yoke. Puke!

Right?! If the pay was equal I'd rather have more A220 than 787!

Right? You can just have a joint venture partner do that flying. Dallas > Barcelona or Hong Kong.

+1

Maybe we can buy a cargo version so I can stop hearing “there’s no money in cargo” every time we pass a FedEx ramp

I was just talking about the airplanes.

But sure, that would be fine with me if it makes Delta more stable and profitable and creates more high paying jobs for Delta pilots. If the A220 paid the same as the 787 it wouldn't matter. If you want to go to Hong Kong, you can non-rev there (on our JV partner ).

Not necessarily...you would work more days/month with that plan.

A few of the guys I was referring to above, after complaining about not having the 787, later complained that we had to many fleets.

I'd rather have more A350s.

The UltraFan MRO is up for grabs, so more of those planes is a given. That engine isn't due out till late 2024, however.
