Default A321 pitch issue

Has Delta put out anything concerning this and what exactly is the issue?

A321neo operators alerted over 'excessive pitch' anomaly

Airbus has introduced a temporary revision to A321neo flight manuals intended to prevent the possibility of the aircraft reaching excessive pitch attitudes.
The European Union Aviation Safety Agency has disclosed that the revision follows analysis of the re-engined type's elevator and aileron computer.

It has not elaborated on the situation beyond stating that "excessive" pitch could occur under certain conditions and "during specific manoeuvres".

EASA cautions that this could result in "reduced control" of the aircraft.

Airbus has issued temporary revisions to the aircraft's flight manual incorporating operational limitations.

EASA has ordered operators of the A321neo to amend the flight manuals accordingly, within 30 days.

The order covers both the CFM International Leap-1A and Pratt & Whitney PW1100G versions of the aircraft.

Airbus has issued seven relevant temporary revisions to the flight manual, on 21 June and 10 July. EASA says the safety measure is an interim action and could be followed by further requirements.

Why would they accept them and not use them, I’m just curious

My post was in jest. Why would the company put out a notice to pilots for an aircraft we don't own. That was the overall point.

I would think it would be good for delta to release a memo to 320 pilots saying this doesn’t affect the current 321, yes we have them on order, and we are confident in their solution.
Instead we will probably read about how we are the “most preferred carrier in Italy” now that we have invested in another airline

I think his point is that the plane will be delivered from the factory in the summer of 2020 but will not enter revenue service for a month or two afterwards.

As I'm sure you know, maintenance has to climb over them for a while for training and familiarization as does the below-wing crowd. They usually tie that in with several proving/training flights to bases that will see the aircraft in revenue service. This was the case with the A350, the A220/Canabus and, more recently, the A330-900. Also, I believe that there are some customization installations that have to be done once the jet hits the Delta maintenance ramp that are not done at the factory (IFE?).
