Default Parent/Retiree Pass Travel

Was there ever a time parents could ZED on KLM? It makes Europe a lot more difficult not being able to use them. Air France has mush less frequency out of CDG.

Also DGS parents and retirees fly at the same level as Delta's. DGS isn't even WO by Delta anymore yet they have equal benefits.

And don't get me started with Endeavor's benefits...

All this while we're flying at record load factors.

All in all our parents and retirees have it pretty rough compared to other airlines. Not much of a "benefit" these days.

KLM has excluded parents for well over a decade. It is not a new thing.

But yes... Delta's interline agreements are lagging behind the industry. Airlines like UA has ZED business class agreements with Lufthansa, Swiss, Air Canada etc.

Delta employees can only standby for coach class on ZED tickets with other airlines. I wish we negotiate reciprocal business ZED agreements with airlines which offer it.

ZED Business Class on AF/KLM/Virgin/Aeromexico/GOL/Korean/China Eastern sure would be nice.

Anybody have factual data on the ancillary costs to fly in business/1st on there own metal at United? How about American? What is the cost structure for Zed upgrade?

Agreed, it would be nice to have the option for the ZED...but will take our plan over UAL/AA for "own" metal

I don’t know about all the airlines on the list but AF prohibits their own employees from riding in business/first class. I doubt they are going to let us up there. I believe KLM is the same.
