Default C series Red Eyes???

Did I see that correctly? Red eyes from FAI to SEA? Pretty much no escaping red eyes if the smallest plane in the fleet has them.

Total bummer.

On the positive side, if you like laying over in SFO you can easily lay over 10 plus nights if not every single night. This could just be covering additional west coast flying laying the ground work the SEA base which by the way, now that it was unofficially outed will never happen. Maybe CVG?

Maybe SFO will be the next 220 base.

Compass used to do the FAI-SEA run in the off season months, now itll be us on the 220. That ish wasn't fun! Wonder if we'll see that in the middle of an NYC 5 day. Also will see SLC-JFK and SLC-ATL redeyes coming as extra segments.

I seem to remember having a PBS bidding "glitch" several years ago that resulted in a month of rotations that included an ANC to SEA red-eye followed by a leg to SLC on the 73N. Guess network still loves them some Alaskan red-eyes.

Was stationed up there 10+ years ago. Seemed like everything was a redeye leaving ANC. Almost literally.

I’ve done the FAI-SEA redeye 3 times in airbus. All last year and year before if I remember correctly. Last time was the best northern lights show I’ve ever seen.

As a SEA 73N red-eye connoisseur, ANC and FAI to SEA are the best ones. Get home and in bed by 0630 for a nap! Now that I said that, the optimizer will take that away and give us just JFK and ATL red-eyes. Now those suck!

717/md-88 = essentially no red eyes.
