Did you run the QRH?
#31
Okay, I'll say it - the Delta crew was invited into the conversation and their question "did you run the QRH" is a logical starting point because; a "yes" probably gives an immediate mental image of what may have been accomplished, vs. asking the 175 crew exactly where they are at step by step. The resultant "no" would tend to leave a wide open agenda of query, but the Brickyard crew's verbiage gives the Delta pilots a clear indication that they don't need outside analysis. Both crews seemed very professional. No hat or hate trophys are due to anybody, but the fire captain was probably a bit put off by being told to be quiet as he just tried to do his job.

At the blue shop flying the super-premium RJ Autopilot/Trim disconnect switch press and hold is the only memory item. The cutout switches are on the QRH for us. Seems to differ place to place.

Once Capt America opened that door, if ground or tower told him not help then would that be a potential liability? Probably.
Then he got the crew to openly say whether or not they followed the QRH.

Invited in is extremely doubtful. More like, told Ground I have knowledge of the distress aircraft and can save the day.

ground was asking if anyone was certified on the 175, he said yes and ground sent him over to tower. its not like the tapes would not get pulled on this one to reveal whether or not they ran the QRH. it is PIC decision to land or run the QRH (with very few exceptions we run the QRH), landing was very much the correct call and should be easy to explain.

Nooo, I think it was that ex-Endeavor guy who sits in a terminal and watches movies on his phone rather than hanging out in the crew room. He is overweight with thick glasses and every time he tells me he is a ffdo and has 7 degrees, two of which are Masters.
It’s got to have been him!
