Default Hiring Pilots to Run Sim Sessions in Miami

At Flyanairliner, we are passionate about aviation and about sharing the thrilling experience of flying an airliner to those interested. (www.flyanairliner.com)

We are opening our operations in Miami (near MIA) and are looking for highly motivated type-rated Boeing pilots to run our full-flight simulator sessions.

The ideal candidate does not necessarily have to be an instructor (TRI/TRE) but they should have a passion and enthusiasm for flying, as well as an ability to share that passion with our guests. This would also suit retired pilots who would like to continue to be involved in aviation.

We offer three experiences: individual/small group Flight Simulation Experiences, Corporate Events, and one-on-one Fear of Flying courses. Our aim is to extend the thrilling experience of flying a modern jetliner to those who are interested, in the best possible environment, at state-of-the-art flight training facilities, with highly capable and enthusiastic pilot instructors. You would be working part-time; our team will strive to schedule sessions that work for the training center, our clients, and our pilot instructors.

What we are looking for:
*Minimum of 200 hours on type
*Excellent customer focus
*Pleasant and outgoing personality
*Confidence in dealing with the public and with training center staff
*Smart appearance
*Reliable and punctual

Aircraft simulators in Miami:
*Boeing 737NG
*Boeing 757/767
*Boeing 747-8
*Boeing 777

Please send your CV to [email protected], along with a cover letter detailing your experience and your interest in joining the team as a pilot instructor. Thank you in advance for your interest!

Question

Hmmm... Interesting... Filling unused FSTD time slots (probably between 0000-0400) for "fun" familiarization flights and marketing future flight training... Hopefully the poster has done their homework. I wonder:

Does this activity require compliance with TSA rules?

What training the "sim instructors" will receive?

Part 142??

This seems like a terrible idea to me. Why not send out personal invitations to the terrorist groups. Won't be long before one of them is sitting in on a "flight simulation experience", asking all kinds of questions.

Edited to add, it's already going in countries that take security a lot more seriously (especially when it comes to uniformed flight crew) than here...

Yes It would have to. At FSI, when we bring a friend or relative in for a "ride" they must pass a TSA background check.
