TravelNet an HKB’s
Hello. Trying to get my wife to come along on an overnight, and there are 11 open seats. If there are 11 HKB’s on the airport standby list, does that mean the flight is essentially full? Or are those seats already accounted for? Thanks in advance. I don’t want to drag her to the airport for a full flight

For example, if the seat availability shows 3 total available seats and the airport standby list shows 20 unassigned seats, there are 17 HK passengers that have not checked in and have not yet been assigned a seat.

HKs have no bearing on the seat availability. If you use TravelNet the first page after hitting “search” takes into account all HKs. There are certain codes like C, SDSB and others that are not taken into account on that but HKs have a confirmed seat, they just don’t know which seat.
