I don’t know what Stone Age this particular urban myth comes from, but this didn’t happen when I went through UPT 18 years ago. Nor has it happened to any of my students in the many years since that I’ve instructed UPT. Nor did this ever happen to any of my older friends who completed UPT years prior to me.

Just flew with one of the FA's who, according to her, was one of the first to start having issues. She detailed some of the problems she faced when initially dealing with inflight managers. She said that even now she can tell if she's standing too close to another FA wearing the uniform that her body starts to react.
