Yes Delta has the contractual minimum planes in the skyteam, other airlines do quite a few more then that but Delta has fairly consistently done the minimum they had to on that front.

I'm sure they would paint our jets whatever, right after they asked us what we were willing to give up in the contract to get them.

I wandered into the big hangar at the maint. base right after the merger. There was a Western 737 in DAL colors. I mentioned to the grizzled old hangar chief that it looked pretty sharp. He looked at me and said, "And that's all, brother."
