February Bids

I see the FEB CA bids on Deltanet. Didn’t get the text from Alpa alerting they are out. They are out much later than average, especially for February. FO bids still not out. Going to be a tight summer, especially without a contract while company is making record profits and bragging about it.

Well historically February is a heavy block hour month so I can see it taking longer to post the
bids. (Insert the most sarcastic icon you would like)

Instead of all this talk about minimum balances we need to put those resources towards getting the B's out faster

B's are people too!

Apparently it affected the number of summer weeks available for vacation so yeah that’s my bet.

Are they actually trying to tell us that the one extra day this year affects ALV’s enough that they had to reduce summer vacation weeks available? Sounds like a slam dunk status quo argument with the NMB.

I hope they don’t think we are that gullible.

No. They are telling us that reducing vacations in summer months is going to help keep ALVs lower [editor’s note: because of staffing] Also, the extra day in Feb made Feb ALVs higher, which doesn’t help the situation.
