I applaud any concrete steps a company takes to reduce their pollution impact. Kudos. Climate change is going to be a serious problem in the next few decades and I hope to pass on a habitable, stable world to my children. If it’s too late, at the very least, I can tell them I believed the people that sounded the alarm.

My guess is that Delta is trying to get ahead of possible legislation against them in Congress. Try and fix it your way or have regulations stuffed down your throat by Washington. It may happen anyway depending on how elections go later this year.
If politicians, actors, whoever want to scream and cry about climate change and the CO2 emissions from planes, they should be the first ones to stop flying them, but that never happens. It's not a scam and is preserving our children's future.
Delta's commitment to sustainability is one of the reasons I chose to come here. Three years later and they're sticking to it. I'm damn proud of this company (most of the time). |

So for you climate change deniers, serious question: what's the downside of cleaning up our act and doing what we can to reduce our impact and destruction of our own habitat? At a minimum well see what, cleaner air? Cleaner water? Is the best argument you got is that it will cost us a few pennies come profit sharing time? Yeah, I'm ok with that. :rolleyes:
