People just don't want to admit to themselves that they (and their way of life) are the problem. It's human nature.
Burning coal, trashing the environment, eating meat and dairy, funding wars, buying iPhones, wearing designer clothes made in sweatshops, etc is a lot easier if you lie to yourself and tell yourself that you aren't hurting anyone. |

1,000 eh? Just making up your own numbers to support your argument.
The world's population is already plateauing. Population control is an old fear that's no longer relevant. You probably should give up being a pilot if you are so concerned about carbon footprints because Greta has told me air travel is awful. |

Well not me... I have a “coexist” bumper sticker on one side of my Prius, and a “Resist” sticker on the other side. People who don’t agree with me are obviously NAZIs..... |

So for you climate change deniers, serious question: what's the downside of cleaning up our act and doing what we can to reduce our impact and destruction of our own habitat? At a minimum well see what, cleaner air? Cleaner water? Is the best argument you got is that it will cost us a few pennies come profit sharing time? Yeah, I'm ok with that.
The agenda is about control and forcing you to change your lifestyle and society at large based on what some people think might could potentially be happening but don't know for sure. Demanding that entire economy shift it's fundamentals based on some ivory tower theories in their intellectual infancy is absurd. Now if it were proven beyond any doubt that man was not only contributing to climate change significantly and that the climate change was detrimental somehow, then yeah I might could see some serious adult discussion about it. But right now neither points have been proven. In short, radical environmentalism is being used as a vehicle for progressive/socialism. And what is sad is that supposed critically thinking adults buy into it. |

Here’s a hint.... the earth’s climate has been changing long before man came along, and will continue to change long after we’re gone......
