Show me where it says it's your job to ensure FAs are in the correct uniform. And don't use that "captain is in charge of everything" from the FOM

"The captain sets the example for all crew members with regard to proper conduct, appearance, alertness, discipline, adherence to operating procedures, and standards of proficiency".

That doesn't mean anything. Again, show me where it says what the proper FA uniform is

Were you on the debate team as a kid?

I saw grey pants and a black sweater in DTW the other day. Is that an approved uni?

No idea. What does your FOM say? Oh it doesn't? Let IFS management deal with it. Not your problem

I googled it for you. It’s called psychological rigidity, it’s generally used to protect a brittle ego.

Now, please continue with your grammar lessons and broken record arguments.

I’ve had a few “alternate” uniform DAL flight attendants use the XFA. So long as they are dressed business casual with the appropriate documents I would never deny them or any commuter a jumpseat.

That being said, the DL FAs having 397 non-standard uniform combinations looks ridiculous. Although, I recently had a female FO with blue hair. So yeah...

I get the point you're trying to make but why not just let IFS management handle it? As long as you can identify them as a crew member (wings) then leave the rest to management.

I've seen pilots on transoceanic flights come out of the cockpit wearing sweat pants...who cares...not my job to police what anyone else is wearing unless i'm the lead flight attendant and in that case if it's concerning another FA I say something if it's egregious.

Thanks Google Doc. I don't get a brittle ego. I'm just right. The brittle egos are the guys on here who can't accept that they aren't 100% in control of everything.

And the guy literally asked why everyone was using bad grammar. He was wrong
