Same, I flew yesterday and knocked out one landing which bought me another couple weeks. Of those couple weeks, many of those days are x days. Am I required to submit those x days as available? I had already submitted my availability for the first two weeks of the month and haven’t been sent to to the sim during that time period. I’d like to just submit my reserve days but that certainly won’t add up to 14 days. Thanks.

Question: If I get called for a RCY or RECY on an X-day, does it pay above Res guarantee? I've got a bunch of X-days that I don't have anything important going on so I was strategizing pay possibilities.

Yes, RCY/RECY on X Day = 4 hours pay above guarantee per day.

Thats not a bad deal but I have my X days all planned out with no room for training. Can you refuse it on X days?

Sorry, I don’t know the answer to that.

I had to call my fleet planer to get a RECY trainer. It seems I was lost in the displacement shuffle. I went from 73NB, to 717A (1 month), now back 73NB for July.

Yes, however you will no longer be pay protected. If you gave them the 14 days and they did not use them you are good.

So we have to provide 14 days, 28 now actually, even if it includes X days. That sounds reasonable

Still leaves you 16 or 17 days each month where they can’t train you. Just put the days on when you are scheduled to work or be on call. How much have you worked the last 3 months?

Pilot to scheduler, “ I worked 2 days in the last 3 months and now I have to give you 14 days in a entire month to train for 1 day. Thats not reasonable.”
Scheduler, “Sigh”
