Ladies and gentlemen, we are still on an active taxiway, please remain seated until the CA turns off the seat belt sign!

They outsourced the premium ULH flying, but the pilots kept their jobs. Do you think we could start flying the AF/KLM/VA/LATAM/KAL/AMX/WJA equipment? Hijack over.

Musk did a great job with this. He now needs to get back to work at Tesla. Just went to look at a possible purchase and the quality was terrible. Yugo would have been embarrassed to let the Tesla’s I saw out of the factory. Really disappointed because I wanted one badly. If they can’t correct body defects you can see from 30 feet away I had to wonder what items you can’t see look like?

The drivetrain is a decade ahead of the competition, but fit and finish is a decade behind. One interaction with the right foot potentiometer and you will be hooked. The instant torque is crack cocaine. My wife loves her Model S, but the body panels and trim aren't nearly as good as the Honda parked next to it. If you buy an X or S, the first thing you do is get it ceramic coated because the paint is that bad. If you are buying a Model 3, it may not be worth the expense relative to the price tag.

Sounds like Musk is going after the Corvette market. “Yeah, it’s built like garbage, but the power!” His cars are already so expensive though that BMW et al. can’t come along and make a superior product for a 40% premium because no one would buy it.

The danger Tesla faces is that companies like BMW are catching up in their electric drivetrain know how faster than Tesla is figuring out car building know how. If Tesla doesn’t figure out the fit and finish production details before competitors field comparable electric drivetrains, Musk’s car company will have real trouble.
