Default Delta to increase flying through Latam?

Read this on CC board that Delta wants to increase flying to South America by using LATAM assets? If true that would seem like a slap to the face of all the guys we have facing furlough, not to mention seeking concessions etc. for early out. I wonder if they'll ask LATAM to fly at 60% load factor. Anyone have better insight on this?

Don’t confuse Sailing with the facts.

Everything is fine. Call Delta reservations, they just pick up the phone right away.

Looks like (from the .gov docs) this started pre-Covid. There is also a response from the MEC to DOT. Seems to me the OP was insinuating Delta was all of a sudden trying to take advantage of the current situation. In reality, there appears to be more to the story.

I believe there IS some smoke here. Whether there is actually a fire remains to be seen. Depends on whether DAL resumes the fly we were doing before COVID19 or not....

Yes. Don’t read anything on CC. And if you do, keep it to yourself.

While the regulars there might honestly believe that CC reflects the pilot group in general, the real truth is that 90% of the posts are done by the same 15 malcontent sociopaths who are happy with nothing and find conspiracy behind every topic. Very sad.

Particularly pathetic are the handful of retired pilots who return to CC to fan the flames of discontent. When I retire, I am going to quietly retire, not post angry missives on a bogus web board.

CC is toxic beyond belief.

Seriously. I'm more than a little surprised no one has filed a workplace harassment lawsuit based on product from that place. I like rumors as much as the next pilot, but..sheesh.
