Where do I get one of these crystal balls everyone seems to be consulting for future intel? Or is the talking wall mirror the most reliable prophet?

... and yet here we are.
I wouldnt count on this. I just recently went to Universal Orlando for two days and the parks were “empty”. I basically had to pace myself from getting sick of all the excessive ride time (ie. No waiting) I had.

I haven’t looked recently but are they limiting entrance into the park? We are awaiting the Disney reopening and seeing how their new reservation system works to get into the park.

I too just did Universal. There was nobody to limit. Ghost town. Best theme park experience ever minus the mask.

However, I feel once Disney is open the people will come. Most vacationers want to do it all in Orlando and most stuff isn’t opening until late June/early July.

We're already there pop, pay attention.

Jaww - I think the Hotels are still throttled on capacity aren't they? Also airlines, as we know, are still not anywhere near a half normal capacity. Hopefully the demand forces an increase. Now add in Orange county (FL) just went full crazy with mask wear mandatory - yet they are still mandating the 6 ft thing as well. I'm confused, I thought if you couldn't maintain 6 ft then it was mask on? The Orange county commish says no, regardless of 6 ft rule, masks for everyone, everywhere in public. Did the same thing in TPA. People are gonna drop like rocks here in FL wearing those things in July. We've lost the bubble.

Happy Father's Day everyone. Time to go enjoy some fishing time with the boys.

We've been just fine wearing the masks in SE Asia for the past few months, which makes even south FL feel like a nice cool summer day in Aspen relatively speaking. I think people will somehow manage.

Is there a special kind of mask that is less miserable to wear, or does one just have to get accustomed to the misery?

interesting reading Facebook on the company side and seeing flight attendants complain that with the heat in the cabin during boarding it’s difficult to wear a mask.

so can we start the APU or something?

Then comes (from pilots) the “was it on ground air? Ground air is the best for...”

well the ground air is awful on a 321. Has been since day 1. Same hose on 320, fine. 321? 80F+

I have flown with a particular captain that spends more of his brief with me discussing the finer points of reducing/eliminating kinks in the ground air hose during the walk around than anything else. I’m sure he could write a small book on how it helps with cabin temp. (Mind you, it’s the same script even on consecutive days of flying). I have zero hesitation to start the APU on the 73 in order to keep the cockpit [cough], cabin comfortable. And keeping the FAs happy also doesn’t hurt.
