I’m also nearing my NQ status. I’ve submitted my available days for the last two months. Is there anything else I am required to do to maintain pay in the case of NQ?

For example, am I required to yellow slip or buy a trip for decency?

thx

Nope. I finally had NQ put on my schedule today for my upcoming trip. Checked the time card and no pay has been removed. No YS and no trip buys. Full disclosure: I accepted the extension without comment and filled out two availability templates like a good little widget. No CQ coming till the fall and still haven't been scheduled for RECY.

What fleet and when did your extension expire?

That's a bit much given the example that started this conversation.

It would be very unproductive to write congress about something that could be corrected and paid on schedule for the pay period in which it would have been paid anyway. If that doesn't happen and the company is sticking to their no pay stance then fine, write away.

7ER and expired Jul04
Looks like this morning (Jul06) OKNF was placed on my schedule on my expiration date and 69NQ was placed over my upcoming trip.

I expired 1JUN, nothing on my schedule till they called me for a SC late June. I told them I wouldn't be any use since I am expired. They now placed "NQ" on my schedule. So far I am getting paid, but this thread makes me nervous.

For context, I am a 330B, getting kicked off in NOV2020 (projected.)

You don’t need to be nervous. Read the thread carefully.

My currency originally expired on June 5th (no extension). I filled out the icrew sim session prompt on time and then went about my life. Around this time, the official policy had them only applying the extension to pilots on a case by case basis.

Sometime between when I last checked icrew around noon on June 5th and midnight, they gave me the extension without telling me. Since I was off most of June, I didn't find out about the extension until I was given short call at the end of the month. As a result, I don't even remember if I had to fill out a new icrew sim session prompt for my new recency date of July 5th. If I did, it was certainly wasn't within the FOM time limit. Anyone else experience something similar?

No need to be nervous, I am confident of us being paid at this point.

I have read most of the thread and I still don’t understand why you think a fellow pilot shouldn’t get paid for declining the extension.
