not what I’m talking about. I hit 90 days they extended me 30, I went to recency now I’m coming up on 90 days again and haven’t flown a flight. So no actual aircraft flying in 5 months but I did get 3 landings and an hour of sim. What I’m saying now is that instead of another 30 day extension I want a sim and preferably one that I can do more than a wham bam and out at this point

I went and did a RECY sim today (the one if you expired)

Was a few TO and Lnds, Low vis TO, Cat 3 and some V1 cuts.
Resets your Lnds and Cat 3 also.

I would ask for the same in your situation. I would however reach out and tell the company in advance.

How much advance notice do they need? Again, I was given 12 hours at most.

Was telling them you didn’t want an extension traumatic for the company? Cuts both ways.

Huh? No. I never got the chance to tell them I didn't want the extension. I was just shocked at how disorganized it was. I expired on my day off, yet I still checked icrew even though I had no obligation to. Seeing as I wasn't extended on my normal 90 day expiration, I figured I wasn't extended. I was then off for 12 days. Then, I got a short call assignment. At what point was I supposed to tell them that I didn't want the extension? Since I didn't know I was getting extended, I didn't have the chance to fill out the sim session template in time too. Again, how much notice should we give?
