COBRA Assessment
#161
Many years ago when I was an FO on the MD-11 I flew a ATL-NRT leg that served salmon chowder as the main course. Had it on many other legs and it was good but this particular one in was more congealed than usual. About an hour later (north of Pt Barrow, Alaska) I went to the bathroom and and puked my guts out. Fortunately I was fine for the rest of the leg. Moral of that story, don’t eat thickened soup!

Food preferences aside a 90% vote to voluntarily contribute to potential furloughees is awesome. I doubt we could get 90% to vote the sky is blue. Why get upset that 9% voted against it - be happy that over 90% voted for it.
As to those guys who voted no or abstained that is their prerogative. Being a beneficiary of this largess after 9-11 I too wish it would have been 100%, but I don't hold it against anyone. Lets close this thread on a positive note, 90% of us voted generously!
