Nothing wrong with being optimistic, but yes a crowded airport just means that - a crowded airport. If you hit any terminal in between banks it may appear very crowded.Scoop

In the past month I've had legs cancel on almost every rotation (NYC 7ER), 4 out of 5. Going thru Atl looks busy at times, but that happens when Terminals C, D, E, F are ghost towns. Empty ramps, direct anywhere you want, straight taxi into gates everywhere in the system... I'm not seeing the recovery from my seat, sadly. Except FLL, that place is hopping.

Hey the other day we were number 10 for departure out of ATL. Almost seemed normal.
Then again, at that time in the evening, all departures were going off the north side only.
Appearances can be deceiving.
