The only numbers that matter are hospitalization rates and deaths. Those two are at record highs. I hope you don't get seriously injured because there might not be room at the first hospital you arrive at, and the hospital staff taking care of you are going to be at higher risk of fatigue because of staffing shortages.

The issue at hand is that there is a bifurcation occurring. On one side you have actual practicing physicians. They in large part do not agree with measures taken to date. On the other you have the non-practicing public health politicians of the CDC.

You guys chose to line up behind the CDC bureaucrats. Not the actual doctors. Doctors, you know the people who treat you when you are ill. Not a public health "doctor".
