30 Million Americans Vaccinated In 25 Days

I personally am proud to witness one of the most incredible scientific and medical feats ever accomplished. Conspiracy theories aside, we went from barely knowing a virus existed to vaccines developed, tested, and being administered inside of twelve months. I’m willing to celebrate that.

T-Rex arm wrestling matches were organized by mammoths in an intentional effort to lead to the demise of the dinosaurs? I’ll buy it.
The dark side of the moon (which isn’t in a Hollywood basement) is populated by extraterrestrials who are secretly studying humans in an effort to understand self destructive behavior? Sure.
I’ll buy those.
Happy New Years to you as well

I think that graph is misleading. Just a few days differential in rollout dates totally skews the "data". As has been pointed out.
The "long, long way to go" is far far shorter that what most predicted...especially anyone in MSM or the "experts"....thankfully they were wrong.

Overall, 74.1% of U.S. adults surveyed between April 1 and April 14 said they were either “somewhat” or “very” likely to get a COVID-19 vaccine when it became available to them. At the time, the country had confirmed about 550,000 coronavirus infections, and nearly 22,000 people had died as a result, according to data from the World Health Organization.
Fast-forward to the end of the year. Between Nov. 25 and Dec. 8, 56.2% of U.S. adults were still planning to get vaccinated when their turn came. This despite the fact that by the end of that survey period, more than 14.5 million Americans had been infected and about 280,000 had died, according to the WHO.
Women are less likely than men to accept the vaccine. In recent weeks, only 50.6% of them said they planned to get vaccinated, down from 69.5% in April. Among men, interest in immunization fell from 79.1%in the spring to 62.3% eight months later.

Well, I guess we will see. Of the 50% who are averse to the vaccine, who are they? I think one subset is the type that says, "What, me worry?. I ain't scared of no effing Asian flu and even if I get it no big deal"....those are the ones that will be flying anyway and want the economy open. The other subset that won't take it is so scared that they will hide in their basement and won't be flying no matter what. (or when they do, it will be because everyone else has herd immunity and the economy is open so there is some place to go/something to do)
My only points were that even though the graph showed the USA behind in people vaccinated, that is capricious "data" and totally biased/skewed due to small country population and rollout days. My other point was that we are way ahead of where all the "science" pundits and talking heads said we were going to be. If you have to eat a sh*t sandwich that is Covid, I prefer to only have a tiny dingleberry in mine as opposed to the "double meat" combo. And no, "I don't want any fries with that, If I wanted fries, I would have asked for them"

What a joke.
Oh and stick me with a FrankenVax that has never been used before on humans, AND was developed in less than a year, COMPLETELY against my will.

Mr Bond. I was aware, just poking at folks who want to jump to conclusions re mask wear. It is gonna get to be a thorny issue. What will stores do, cities do, counties do to enforce mask wear policy. Mandate one carry their vaccination record? Stamp a big V on their forehead?
