I've used the crew assist app to call in well. Apparently they are allowed to do that, just not mark you out sick.

You can do sick and well via crew assist. Or just call your CPO and leave a message, they’ll figure it out. We don’t get paid to wait on hold for 2+ hours

Agree on the 2+ hours to call in sick/well. Completely unsat. Text to crew assist and call/email to CPO seem like a solid plan. Maybe when they get tired of dealing with it, they'll pressure CS to fix the staffing. |
