You must be on the 330. :) Just hope it does exceptionally well so they need to upgrade the equipment. This sounds like an original route and should do well but I think AA is going to start service there too. So if we both go there out of JFK, it. Might not last long. I think that’s what happened to BUD. We were the only game in town for a while, then UA or AA started flying there and we soon discontinued service there.

AA and UAL both flew to Budapest at the same time we did. We all dropped the route in the same time frame. Malev also shutdown and there were zero non stop flights from the US. LOT airlines a few years later added seasonal service.

Currently there is a national chicken shortage but round wives are still plentiful!

AA was doing Dubrovnik from PHL pre-covid for one Summer (2019). Then not last summer obviously, but they are re-starting from PHL and United is starting it from EWR.

As a B you can fly relief trips but you are on your own a fair amount. Great if you are motivated to explore on tour own. Learn the local public transportation system and the entire city or region can be explored.

True, and Europe’s great train systems make this easy. I’ve done Luxembourg as a long day trip out of CDG and The Hauge out of AMS.

I’d much rather explore a foreign city on my own than hang out with some geriatric captain/FAs.
