Res and Green slips

Trying to find the document that talks about being on reserve and accepting a green slip with an earlier report.

ex. Finished a trip yesterday with a release time of 1433 and back to LC until 2259, 12hr rest release prior to my 1100 short call, at 0300 Arcos calls for a green slip with a 1000 show, I acknowledge I am willing to fly the turn, trip is awarded to someone junior. Was I not eligible for the green slip?

Wanting to get all my ducks in a row before calling scheduling.

I am pretty sure that's a legal GS. Assignment pay, no pay back day for the first day and the rest is credit

Plug the trip into the rules auditor. If it says your good to go start calling.

Rules auditor says “rest less than 10hrs”. That does not make sense seeing how I was put to rest at 2300 last night. That would be 11 hours of test for a 1000 show.

Doesnt the contract require 12 hours of rest before we can be used, once released in domicile?

I think this is the case for reserves.

Yes. That’s what I meant. For reserves....so if you’re volunteering for premium pay, will it deny a GS until your contractual 12 hours off before another assignment?

No, I’m pretty sure it’s 12 hours for a reserve assignment but you can get a green slip with 10 hours rest. I’ve been burned by that before when I had a blanket greens slip in and answered the phone like a dummy. (Pre Arcos days). It even has its own code on trip coverage, (F) green slip with less than 12 hours to report.

Did you acknowledge the award in arcos? Not the first callout where you preference the trips you want, but the second callout where you confirm your award.

According to scheduling as a reserve that is in a 12 hour rest period prior to an assignment such as short call, one must have 10 hrs rest from the time they call you for the green slip. I was told when they started calling one by one at 1230 am I was legal for the 1000am green slip, but by the time they got to me at 330 am I wasn’t because of the rest, the latter does not make sense.
