It was all about the FUD.

Apologies for the thread drift.

With respect, you titled the thread with “Positive Space” in it. In this forum, that is a very different conversation. Nowhere in this entire thread is Positive Space mentioned or implied. Just wondering why?

Request the chat and got placed in the queue and then got pinged every few hours through the night to ask if I’d still like help, heavy call volume yada yada... 15 HOURS later sitting by the pool, I get what I think is a live person, answering my questions in under a minute. If we don’t fix this crap, we’re in trouble.

My phone has been on hold with Delta for about 6 + hours today. Normally, I'd say to hell with this and throw in the towel. But I have A LOT of money invested in this vacation trip. Consequently, the carrier taking me to my final destination (Delta doesn't service) hasn't thrown me one curve ball (yet) with respect to unwelcome flight changes, whereas I am really up to four flight changes via Delta-five if you include the date change. Both trip reservations were made on the same day over a month ago.

Cut the c r a p. I am a commuter and I’ve not seen any mask “eating” nat-zi’s in a long time. I really think most want this mask crapola to end. Enough with the drama....

Okay cool, I literally encountered one on a DAL flight from NOLA-ATL a few days ago, but maybe I just hallucinated it

The part I parenthesized was literally what and how he said it.

This is positive. Positive space, I mean.

Positive space deadheads to work is beyond awesome. It's almost like being home based. Love it. I'd be up for expending some negotiation capital on it.

No shenanigans.

It’s like crack. If we ever get cut off cold turkey there’s gonna be some bad withdrawal symptoms...

I commute on us and SWA. We are definitely more mask happy. It's really gotten quite annoying how often I hear about it on our flights.

I've recently traveled or commuted on SWA, AS, and of course mainline and we are by far the most adamant of the 3 when dictating to passengers how to eat and drink. It's almost embarrassing. Just my humble observation.

Is this the new norm (low) with respect to airline travel?

Since you’re a revenue passenger and not a pilot for anyone - the title of the thread is very misleading. If you seriously want DAL to do something about this or give feedback, tag them on FB or Twitter. Coming to the dark recesses of the internet where pilots ***** about their job is going to fall on deaf ears and DAL couldn’t care less about complaining on this page. You chose the wrong medium for a resolution. You’re not in the wrong, but APC won’t solve anything.
