Default Delta Pilots Charitable Fund

I found this buried in an ALPA email and thought it should get more publicity.

The Amazon Smile

"Did you know that Amazon will donate .5% of your eligible Amazon purchases to the Delta Pilots Charitable Fund? It’s easy and you can shop through a web browser or through the app. Click HERE to learn how. The Delta Pilots Charitable Fund is supported by individual contributions from Delta Pilots and is committed to improving the lives of children in the cities where we live and work. The need is great; please consider giving. Thank you!"

Just bookmark smile.amazon.com, search for "Delta pilots" and it's the second one down on the list. Then just use that bookmark in the future and it will show "amazonsmile" at the top instead of just "amazon".

0.5% is not much but it's so easy that it might be worth it.

Not to discount this, but Amazon Smile does the 0.5% to most any charity. Pretty broad categories of what are charities.

Been doing it for years to another charity.

Mostly impressed at the insidious nature of it: “I’m doing good work by buying stuff on Amazon “.

But there’s thousands if charities on there. Pick your poison.

I switched mine to DPCF when I saw that email. I've never thought I was doing good by buying on Amazon, in fact, I specifically avoid Amazon when possible. But it's "free" money for them so why not.
