They posted 20 spots.
35 bid out.... 35 awarded.
That leaves 20 spots unfilled. I wonder if no one else was eligible or no one else bid it.
Nyc330B--- 58 unfilled
atl350B--- 11 unfilled
Nyc765B - 34 unfilled
nyc73NA- 12 positions not backfield
sea320A- 7 unfilled
That's just widebody B and narand body A
Wow street captains?
Here is an idea..... make better schedule and keep PSC and pay us more money...

Fantastic update from BS on SkyNet
20 7ERA and 12 73NA in NYC were removed and will be added to next bid. Apparently positioned would have been filled just continued to go more junior. Probably where the Sept 22 rumots originated. 275 first time Captains with 54 of them hired in 2022. Next AE in Jan/Feb 23 with potential to happen earlier. Exciting times

Whoa there big fella. You might want to reread the very post you quoted before going on a sanctimonious victory lap.
This bid did see some (super-duper) oddball junior awards. I still don’t see it continuing as the new norm. I’d be more than happy to be proven wrong, but that remains to be seen several AE’s down the road still.

Let's visit just a couple of your previous posts:
A broken clock is right 2x a day. I submit you got lucky with your 350 prognostication. That’s it, and that’s all. And now you are doubling/tripling/quadrupling down on faulty logic. “The wall has fallen” is not permanent. It was a fluke, and will not systemically propagate to other fleets.
You fail to understand and analyze why the 765 was so junior in NYC before Covid, and how the effects of Covid made so many pilots pass on it, enabling NH’s to see it. Your confirmation bias blinds you to the fact the 350 had zero posted vacancies, and thousands of extra seat-locked junior pilots due to Covid. People either didn’t or couldn’t BWYWWWYB. It’s that simple.
It’s not a systemic change. When the 330 posts many dozens of positions, senior pilots are going to gobble them up looong before a NH has a chance.
I’m sorry to sound so harsh, but I think it’s important for lurkers to understand the fundamentals underlying what has happened in recent bidding results, and why. Not have unrealistic and unachievable hopes.
Once again, you know exactly what was meant when that was said. UA is “a WB airline”, does that mean they do not have NB’s? Of course not. Our focus is on JV’s, not on WB’s. Of course we have WB’s, so stop being to obtuse about that.

Mostly NY. I think it is fair to say that quite a few, myself included, want to see how commuting turns out starting November 1st. Commuting to NY and living a crashpad lifestyle is unfathomable to me.

Trip, while I enjoy your rosey outlook as it’s a nice change of pace around here…let’s be honest. Most of these unfilled WB positions were due to the large number of seat locks still in place since the UNAs were brought back.
While the company released a few people from there locks, I’ve seen many posts on FB from various people saying their locks weren’t broken and those junior to them were.
I think come mid 2023, WB B will trend way more senior. Having said that, I agree with you that positions that used to take 10-15 years to hold will be down to a couple of years.
