Point taken about MiCrew vs iCrew but that isn’t the issue here. The rest was placed after block in and without any notification. Rest must be prospective in nature.
1. Is a proper schedule check without any sort of CNO legal for rest notification? 2. Can this schedule check happen anytime after block in or does one have to wait until 30 minutes after? 3. Is there a way to see a time stamp of when rest was placed on one’s schedule? iCrew also contains rest information beyond the R on your schedule but it isn’t obvious. I honestly don’t even remember how to find it, but there is expanded data on when those rest periods begin and end…not sure if it shows when the rest was added to your schedule. |

PWA 23.S.3.f (RES pilot) state "who is assigned rest prior to release from a rotation, must acknowledge such assignment prior to release." So yeah, they don't need to CNO you because you are required to check your schedule after block in but before release from a RES rotation, at which point you have self notified yourself. 2. PWA 23.1.d states "be required to check his schedule via DBMS or VRU after block-in of the last flight segment of his rotation prior to his release" 3. We can't see it with our user level permissions, but schedulers and ALPA Sched committee folks can see the exact minute something was placed on your schedule. |

Pretty sure any planned/prospective rest needs to generate a pop-up.requiring acknowledgement. You aren't required to go digging into iCrew to find that prospective rest has been assigned.

He doesn’t have to dig, he just has to check his schedule after block in before release….if assigned rest, it will be there. |

Check out my reply at post #13.

The bigger issue has been when the Company puts rest on your schedule but doesn't notify you by phone and it occurs after you are required to check your schedule. Can't just slip it on the sked and not tell the pilot. |

And that is my point. If you are assigned rest, you will have an iCrew pop-up that tells you.
