More or less, I sorta made my own franken hook using the Adare T-attach and then rigging the J hook in the strap.

Like gunfighter said the T hook attachment on the Andare bag is not so secure. I'm going to rivet the strap and that should be a permanent fix.

Also, I have the small LW tote it can slid on the handle of the bag as well. So there's an option. SO far I've hung the LW on my frnaken hook adapter and its stayed in place, but I can see that it is not so secure either

Yes, it seems like the $80 deal was some sort of closeout special. The only other luggage currently available in that line are the 4-wheel spinners.

Based on input here, bought a set. Agree with comments after my eval, it’s been great, tremendous value and quality for the $ (and although I’m a Tumi fan, they’re not 4x the bag though 4x the price). Very pleased with Andare!

Has anyone used the personal tote from Andare? Is it big enough for a laptop, a 15.6" portable monitor, and an A20?

The monitor might be tight but it’s a great bag. I ordered 1 and they accidentally sent me 3 and won’t take back the other 2 for some reason.

So glad I’m not the only one who had this problem. I really liked this bag, but got annoyed at its inability to easily stand upright on its own. You look like a turd when every time you let go of the bag it has a chance of toppling over. I had to have a bag on the J-hook for it to lean against to remain standing upright. Even that took some finessing. Then the zipper on my expansion came off and the bag was forever stuck in expanded mode, which made it pretty much impossible to stand upright alone. I’m curious if the 22” bag has issues as well or if it’s only the 26” due to the CG.
