Not sure what you fly, but would this fit well on a 737?
Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk ER now, but it worked fine when I was on the 737. If the captain didn’t have a LW bag we could fit both up front, otherwise mine went in the closet like a good FO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Ok - so I ordered a pair of these bags (one of our kids will need a new bag soon, so upgrading the wife's and giving it to my daughter). I ordered them on Jan 2nd, and they arrived today - so 6 days for standard (free) shipping. Came via Fedex ground.
On first inspection, it's a sturdy bag. The handle is about the same as most mid-range bags (plastic, not the metal rods of the expensive bags). One negative is there isn't a cutout for your fingers to fit into to pull the top handle. Lots of compartments on the front of the bag for whatever - there is a small one for passport holder, keys, flashlight, etc. Then a medium one for magazines or whatever, then a large one that is very long (height of the bag basically). The main compartment of the bag is about the same size as my existing Costco 22" bag. We'll see how it goes in the real world. It's a step above the Costco bag, not worth $300 but I'd say it's a $150 bag, and at the price ($90) it's a good deal. Also ordered one of these for one of my kids. Haven’t taken it out of the box yet but it came yesterday Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
My Andare bag arrived today. iaflyer's review is spot on. It's going on a test run to CQ later this month. The strap vs J hook is the only downside I see so far.

Anybody use the new strongbag helix roller board? Was curious how it stood up to airline abuse. It seems a cool innovation but wasn’t sure if a bit gimmicky.
The thing that bothers me the most about this bag is the top handle. It's way too long and causes the bag to be out of balance when you grab onto it. I was hoping the Helix would make commuting easier but it hasn't. |
Anyone use an Ebags? It works great as a pax. How about as a pilot?

Going back to the LW 22", it seems that the plastic version is better than the metal, despite the cheaper price?
