Quote: The only people I’ve talked to who are enthusiastic about are pilots who have already accepted class dates at Delta in May/June and are basically getting 80k in exchange for nothing
and here I walked away from a $20,000 signing bonus, sold my airplane and moved to a crashpad near Spondubitz to take a $50,000 yr pay cut to come to Delta. Wow, the times do change 'eh?

I'm pretty sure you can get food poisoning if you even live too close to that place. Hope you're alright.

Real estate agents shouldn’t even be a thing anymore. The process to buy a home is terribly antiquated. There’s literally no need for them.

What doesn't kill you helps you lose 20lbs.

Best to take the ambulance or Uber to ICU. The parking at Grady Intensive Care is expensive. I only eat there on birthdays and special occasions. Every meal is memorable and by that I mean, is reportable on your medical.

Guess I should almost be killed 3 times. Does that help keep the weight off?

Same with car salesmen and dealerships.

Quote: Thread creep but go fly AA or UAL if you don't believe this. Surly FAs who don't give a crap because they know they can't [easily] be fired.

AA's FA union recently grabbed the company by the balls and refused to do full service "because covid". Now first class meals are thrown at the passengers wrapped in plastic on the one and only service during a 4 hour flight.

Delta has the best FAs in the business and there's a big reason for that. They have to care and perform or they are out. It should stay that way.

This is outdated logic. The quality of cabin service is not our concern. We are handcuffed by bargaining for other employees.

Delta can provide excellent cabin service with a union if they really cared about it.

Unions for Pilots but not other employees is not consistent logic.

DALPA should tell the company if for we don’t have a deal in xx months we will go all in helping the FAs organize. If Delta really wants to keep the FAs non union they may play ball with us.

Of course if the “Just vote no” crowd is asking for a 2+ B PWA improvement, we are screwed either way.

Quote: The point is, they won’t move on our proposal because “they would have to factor in the other employee groups” but they just rained cash on a subsidiary employee group without considering their other employee groups.

They put lip service to the worlds best pilots and how we deserve an industry leading contract but the behavior isn’t there.
"World's best pilots" ........wow that's a stretch.

Probably true on a lower cost home. If you are getting into the nicer areas a agent is a huge asset. I recently sold a house and in the span of two weeks the agent completely renovated the house including painting ect.. at no cost to me. She had every possible situation that could lead to post sale issues investigated and remediated if needed. She stage a large portion of the house. Workers literally swarmed the house every day. Much of what she did would have taken me months if not much longer in the current labor market. We had a dozen offers after 72 hours on the market. We narrowed it to 3 and she worked with each agent. We sold for 175K over asking. I ended up paying 5% total to both agents. Worth every penny!

I can’t believe a thread exist about a or some delta pilots complaining about a low regional getting a huge bonus…..I’m sure just about anyone would rather be at delta then endeavor and would gladly trade you their seats. Just be happy you are there.
