No. The only thing the trigger applies to is straight GS

Why doesn't DAL modernize the way they solicit GS flyers? They could use fax machines? Or even pagers?

Awesome thanks.
As someone already mentioned, ARCOS is pretty modern. Honestly, aside from ARCOS being buggy I don't really have any complaints about it. Mostly it's the implementation (batch sizes, which have sort of been fixed) that I didn't like. Otherwise it's one of the few modern IT tools Delta actually uses. |

Isn't it funny how our tech that feels modern is all of the outsourced software?

Technically, every airline outsources most IT applications. This is an airline, not a software development company.

Called in well yesterday around 1300. Today is April 3rd around the same time and have had 18 GS calls and one inverse. Is this the “new normal?”

GS calls are easy to end. Just take out the GS or put in qualifiers for what you actually want to fly. You can put in multiple GS each with different qualifiers. The IA calls can't be stopped but they are far and few between. Most green slips get picked up.

Think we could start doing individual negotiations with crew scheds for each green slip. “Yeah, I’ll fly extra, if you can get my CP to waive wearing the hat for the trip.”
